Paraguayan Olympic Swimmer Lanna Alonso is the latest athlete to be kicked out of the Olympic Village. In a statement by Lissa Sherer the head of the Paraguayan Olympic Committee to the US Sun a 20-year-old athlete is being accused of creating a quote inappropriate atmosphere heard the outlet.
The statement also reads quote we thank her for proceeding as instructed as it was of her own free will. She did not spend the night in the athlete’s Village. She’s not the only Olympian who is causing a splash. At the Paris Olympics Brazilian swimmer Anna Carolina Vieira was dismissed from the summer games after being reprimanded for leaving the Olympic Village with her teammate and boyfriend Gabriel Santos on Friday, July 26th. Without clearing it with the team the Brazilian Olympic Committee says in a statement that the head of the swim team discovered the infraction after Anna posted photos on social media.
